Desexing Caravan

Low cost desexing for Community Card holders

The SPCA is delighted to announce that the desexing caravan is back in Porirua.

The SPCA in conjunction with Porirua Animal Management’s Team is bringing the Desexing Caravan back to Porirua for another year to help improve animal welfare in the community.

The caravan will be launching operations on Wednesday 6th June thanks to two generous grants from Trust House and Crashaw Milligan. We would not be able to run these campaign without this support, however this is still not enough to cover all of the costs. Donations on the day will be expected to help cover the costs of surgery on pets of families on low income or going through hardship.

Please be advised that this service is available for Porirua residents only who are community card holders or have other form of proof of low income. Proof of address will also be required on animal drop off.
