Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals
and to prevent cruelty to them.
Our Aims
Our education programme endeavours to create awareness in
our community to ensure that we foster a caring attitude towards
animals and each other.
We hope we can inspire others to consider the needs of all
living beings and ultimately create a more peaceful place
for us all.

“A human being is part of a whole, called by
us the ‘Universe’, a part limited in time and
space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling,
as something separated from the rest – a kind of optical
delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of
prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and
to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must
be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles
of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole
of nature in its beauty.”
Albert Einstein
Person of the Century
Each year Wellington SPCA helps thousand of animals that
our community chose to disregard, abandon and mistreat. We
teach respect, tolerance and caring - so that we will all
share in a better future.
