Fancy a birthday party with a difference? Then why not celebrate with us?

We host birthday parties for children over the age of 4 and can accomodate up to 12 children at a time.

Parties are heaps of fun and are packed with loads of activities – including plenty of time to hang out with some of the animals in our care.

Birthday activities can include bunny massage, pom pom making, kitty cuddles, clicker training with puppies, dog biscuit baking, creating chocolate animals, a shelter tour and heaps more!!

We have a room all set up with everything you need for a party – you just need to bring the food and drink (there is a kitchen for any preparation needed).

Every child at the party will take home their very own Wellington SPCA party bag and the birthday child also receives an extra special gift.

So, why not give your animal-loving child the party that everyone at school will be talking about for weeks to come?!

This Saturday kids aged from five to sixteen are invited to come along to the launch of ANIMAL CREW our brand new kid’s club.

We will have tours of the centre, face painting, games, crafts and chances to get up close with some of our animals. We’ll also have heaps of our awesome new Animal Crew merchandise such as water bottles and t-shirts for you to buy.

Make sure you don’t miss out on this fantastic Animal Crew afternoon. We can’t wait to see you all there!

Wellington SPCA’s school holiday programme is a cool way for kids to spend the long summer holiday, learning all about animals and getting up close and personal with some of our very cute furry friends!

We have five different events on offer throughout January for kids aged from 5 to 16 years - with heaps of activities and loads of time to spend with some special SPCA animals!

But you need to get in quick – spaces are limited.

We are offering a special $5 discount for bookings made before 17 December.

Wellington SPCA’s Kid’s Club takes place every month and children aged 6 to 12 years can come along to take part in an afternoon packed with fun, educational games and activities.

This month it’s all about Christmas! You’ll find out how to care for your pets over the holidays and why it’s important not to give pets as surprise gifts. As usual, there’ll also be heaps of time to spend with some of our special SPCA animals.

It’s going to be a great afternoon, see you there!
