Lincoln was back to visit Wellington SPCA’s vets yesterday to have the wound on his neck checked. Emma the vet said it is healing nicely and there isn’t any sign of infection. A few more staples holding other smaller wounds were also removed as they are healing well.
Janet and Joe, Lincoln’s owners, report he is getting back to his old self and has been playing with golf balls, one of his favourite toys.
Wellington SPCA has set up a fund to pay for Lincoln’s veterinary treatment and the investigation to find those responsible for this attack.
