Wellington SPCA cares for over 6,000 animals each year at our animal centres located in Newtown and Waikanae. We never turn away an animal in need of help.
We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abused, neglected and unloved animals and where appropriate take prosecutions under the Animal Welfare Act. As the second-largest SPCA in the country, Wellington SPCA is committed to making a positive difference in the community.
This year is especially important to us, we are fundraising to move into our new home; the old Chest Hospital on Mount Victoria. We need to raise $4 million on top of our usual running costs. We are aiming to do this by christmas this year and we need your help. Click the image below to find out more about Fever Hospital and our REHOME project.
