Become a member

Membership is a great way of showing your support of Wellington SPCA. Members generally receive:

• a membership card which entitles them to a 10% discount on most veterinary services and retail items at Wellington SPCA's Newtown Animal Centre and a 10% discount on retail items at the Waikanae Animal Centre
• an invitation to our AGM
• voting rights at our AGM
• update newsletters

There are a number of ways you can become a member:

Bed and Board

Sponsor a cage through our Bed and Board regular giving programme and you will receive all the benefits of membership while actively supporting animals in need. From just $15 a month you can help with the costs of caring for an animal during its stay in either the Newtown or Waikanae Animal Centre. In addition to normal membership benefits, Bed and Board supporters also receive invitations to special Animal Centre tours and occasional updates on the animal you are sponsoring.

Standard Membership

For people who can't make a regular financial commitment we offer standard annual membership.

Adult: $40
Senior: (over 60) $15
Family: $50
Life: $1,500

To join as a standard member, please use our donation form and put the membership category you wish to apply for in 'Reason for Gift'.

All new memberships are subject to approval by Wellington SPCA's Board.
